As part of the development of a new scalable platform called SPA for Volvo Cars, I conducted a full scale ethnographic study in US, Europe and Asia. The study led to numerous qualitative insights that informed several innovation and design projects that were later implemented in first generation of SPA based vehicles (XC90, S90, XC60).
